1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or utilizing the Pnyx platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access the service.

2. Platform Digital Economy & Credits

Pnyx operates on a native digital credit economy. Credits are a digital licensing mechanism granting access to specific platform features, including but not limited to: creating arena debates, unlocking historical archives, querying the Alétheia Fact Checker, and interacting in live audience chats.

3. AI Personas & Synthetic Content Disclaimer

Pnyx features AI-driven "Historical Personas." You explicitly acknowledge that these personas are driven by generative algorithms (LLMs) and synthetic voice cloning. They are parodic/educational simulations, not historical truths.

Pnyx holds no liability for hallucinatory, offensive, or inaccurate claims made by these AI entities during live unscripted debates. Users interact with the AI arena at their own risk and are encouraged to independently verify historical claims.

4. User Conduct in Live Arenas

The Arena is a space for intellectual combat, not abuse. You agree not to:

• Engage in hate speech, targeted harassment, or doxxing in live audio or chat.
• Utilize automated bots to manipulate audience voting mechanisms.
• Transmit malicious code or attempt to hijack WebRTC streams.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of any remaining digital credits.

5. Intellectual Property

By participating in debates, you grant Pnyx a perpetual, non-exclusive license to record, transcribe, display, and distribute the audio and text of your debate within the platform's public archives and for promotional purposes.
